How Silver Gatherings work

Gatherings are in person and multi-day, with a set schedule.

The Rewriting Your Story Retreat includes your private suite with ocean views, a private heated pool, an in-villa chef, daily restorative movement and healing practices, two facilitated sessions a day, airport transfers, and evening trips to town and the beach for dinner. Airfare is not included.

Suites are priced at $3,400 (Soledad), $3,500 (Felicidad or Descanso) and $3,600 (Tranquillo). A 50% deposit secures your place, and the balance is due 30 days before the retreat begins.

Cancel 30 or more days before the start date for a full refund of the deposit. Within 30 days, cancellations are not refundable and no credits or transfers are issued. Missed portions of a retreat, including late arrivals and early departures, cannot be refunded or made up.

If Silver Awakening cancels or reschedules a retreat, you receive a full refund.

What are Silver Gatherings?
Silver Gatherings are in-person retreats and pilgrimages for women over 50, designed to foster connection, reflection and renewal.
Where are Silver Gatherings held?
Retreats are held at the SILVER SAGE® VILLA in Sayulita, Mexico, and at other locations around the world. A 10-day pilgrimage to Ireland, The Heroine's Path, is planned for September 2027.
What is the next Silver Gathering?
The Rewriting Your Story© Retreat runs January 24-30, 2027. It is 7 days and 6 nights at the SILVER SAGE® VILLA in Sayulita, Mexico, with prices from $3,400 per person depending on the suite.
How much does the Rewriting Your Story Retreat cost?
Suites cost $3,400 (Soledad), $3,500 (Felicidad or Descanso) or $3,600 (Tranquillo) per person. A 50% deposit is due at registration and the balance is due 30 days before the retreat. Airfare is not included.

Who leads the retreat, and how big is the group?
SILVER AWAKENING® co-founder Sharon Ryan leads the retreat. She is a midlife coach, Reiki Master and 200-hour Yin Yoga instructor with more than 25 years of experience. The retreat is limited to 8 women.
Who are Silver Gatherings for?
Silver Gatherings are designed for women over 50 who want time to reflect, connect with other women and begin a new chapter. You do not need prior experience with retreats or the SILVER AWAKENING community.
What is the cancellation policy?
A 50% deposit secures your place and the balance is due 30 days before the retreat. If you cancel 30 or more days before the start date, your deposit is fully refunded. Within 30 days there is no refund, credit or transfer. If Silver Awakening cancels or reschedules, you receive a full refund.
