This Community Participation & Confidentiality Agreement (“Agreement”) governs participation in the online and virtual community spaces associated with Silver Awakening (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including but not limited to:

• Online forums

• Membership communities

• Group coaching sessions

• Virtual circles or discussion groups

• Comment sections

• Social media groups operated by Silver Awakening

• Live or recorded group sessions

• Any interactive areas of www.silverawakening.com (the “Site”) or related platforms

By participating in these community spaces (collectively, the “Community”), you agree to abide by this Agreement.

1. Purpose of the Community

The Silver Awakening community is intended to provide a supportive environment for learning, personal growth, and shared experiences, particularly for women navigating life transitions and personal development.

Community spaces are designed to encourage:

• respectful discussion

• mutual encouragement

• shared learning

• personal reflection

• connection among participants

Participation is voluntary, and all members are expected to contribute to a positive, respectful, and safe environment.

2. Respectful Conduct

All community members agree to conduct themselves in a respectful and supportive manner.

Participants agree not to engage in:

• harassment or bullying

• discrimination or hateful speech

• personal attacks or insults

• intimidation or threats

• disruptive or inflammatory behavior

• repeated unwanted contact with other members

• sharing offensive, inappropriate, or explicit material

Silver Awakening reserves the right to remove content or restrict participation that violates these standards.

3. Confidentiality Expectations

Because community discussions may involve personal experiences and sensitive topics, participants agree to respect the confidentiality of others.

Members agree that:

• Personal stories shared by other participants must remain private.

• Information shared within the community may not be reproduced, recorded, or distributed without permission.

• Screenshots, recordings, or transcripts of discussions may not be shared outside the community.

Participants should assume that anything shared by another member is confidential unless explicitly stated otherwise.

4. Limits of Confidentiality

While participants are encouraged to respect confidentiality, Silver Awakening cannot guarantee that all community members will maintain confidentiality.

By participating in community discussions, you acknowledge that:

• Other participants may hear or read your contributions.

• You are responsible for deciding what personal information you choose to share.

• Silver Awakening cannot guarantee that other participants will always honor confidentiality commitments.

We encourage thoughtful sharing and personal discretion.

5. Personal Responsibility for Shared Information

Participants are responsible for the information they choose to share within the community.

Before posting or discussing personal matters, participants should consider:

• their comfort level with disclosure

• potential emotional impacts

• the presence of multiple participants

Silver Awakening encourages authentic sharing while maintaining healthy personal boundaries.

6. No Professional Advice Within the Community

Community discussions may involve topics related to:

• personal growth

• life transitions

• emotional well-being

• wellness

• relationships

• career or lifestyle changes

However, participants agree that:

• Community discussions are not a substitute for professional advice.

• Other participants are not acting as licensed professionals unless clearly identified.

• Advice shared by participants should not be interpreted as medical, legal, psychological, or financial guidance.

Participants should consult qualified professionals for specialized advice.

7. Recording and Content Use

Silver Awakening may occasionally record certain group sessions, workshops, or discussions for educational purposes.

If recordings occur:

• Participants will be notified in advance when possible.

• Recordings may be used for training, educational materials, or program improvement.

Participants agree not to record community sessions themselves without prior written permission from Silver Awakening.

Unauthorized recording, copying, or distribution of community content is prohibited.

8. Intellectual Property

Content shared by Silver Awakening within the community—including course materials, presentations, exercises, and frameworks—remains the intellectual property of Silver Awakening.

Participants may not:

• reproduce or distribute materials

• copy or publish course content

• share program materials outside the community

Personal notes taken during discussions may be used for personal reference only.

9. Moderation and Enforcement

Silver Awakening reserves the right to moderate all community spaces.

We may:

• remove posts that violate community standards

• restrict or suspend participation

• remove individuals from the community without refund if conduct is harmful to other members

Moderation decisions are made at the discretion of Silver Awakening to maintain a healthy environment.

10. Reporting Concerns

Participants who experience or witness behavior that violates community guidelines are encouraged to notify Silver Awakening.

Concerns may include:

• harassment

• confidentiality violations

• disruptive behavior

• misuse of community spaces

Reports will be reviewed, and appropriate action may be taken.

11. Voluntary Participation

Participation in community discussions is voluntary.

Members may choose to:

• participate actively

• observe discussions without posting

• withdraw from community interactions at any time

Participants should engage at a level that feels comfortable and appropriate.

12. Limitation of Liability

Silver Awakening is not responsible for the actions, statements, or opinions of community participants.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Silver Awakening shall not be liable for:

• statements made by participants

• advice exchanged within the community

• emotional responses resulting from discussions

• misuse of shared information by other participants

Participation in community discussions is undertaken at your own discretion.

13. Changes to This Agreement

Silver Awakening may update this Community Participation & Confidentiality Agreement periodically.

Updates will be posted on the Site with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Continued participation in the community after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
