Sharon Ryan is an educator, workshop leader, midlife coach, transformational guide, and Curriculum Administrator for Higher Learning at Silver Awakening. She helps women reclaim wholeness—mind, body, heart, and spirit—during one of life’s most powerful transitions. Drawing on a rich background in corporate leadership, operations, and business development, she blends strategic insight with spiritual and embodiment practices to create immersive programs that help women 50+ view midlife as a sacred threshold rather than a crisis. In her role at Silver Awakening, Sharon designs and oversees higherlearning curricula that integrate emotional intelligence, somatic awareness, and personal transformation. Her work empowers women to deepen self-trust, awaken inner wisdom, and step into the next chapter of life with clarity and purpose. Sharon holds certifications in Emotional Intelligence, NeuroLinguistic Programming, and Midlife Coaching from Symbiosis Coaching Institute. She is also a certified 200-hour Yin Yoga instructor and a Reiki Master with more than 25 years of experience in energy and embodiment practices. She earned her BA in Interdisciplinary Social Science from the California Institute of Integral Studies.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & Refund Policy: Individual Silver Mentor sessions are reserved specifically for you, and our mentors dedicate time and preparation to support your growth. Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment time are not refundable. Any rescheduling request for a cancellation made within 24 hours of the appointment time will be handled solely at the mentor's discretion. Missed sessions, including no shows, are considered non-refundable. For clients who purchase a package of sessions, each session within the package follows the same 24-hour cancellation policy, and unused sessions are non-refundable once the package has begun. If SILVER AWAKENING® must cancel or reschedule a session, you will receive a full refund or the option to rebook. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Who is Ava Pommerenk, Ph.D? Ava Pommerenk is an online empowerment coach and speaker with a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Sofia University. She helps women recover from betrayal, narcissistic abuse, trauma and codependency. What does a session with Ava cost and how long is it? A one-on-one online session lasts 1 hour and costs $325 USD. Can I meet Ava before booking a paid session? Yes. Silver Awakening offers a free 20-minute consultation with Silver Mentors. You can book up to three different mentors, with one free consultation per mentor. Is coaching with Ava the same as therapy? No. Ava provides empowerment coaching, which is not therapy or medical treatment. Add this only after Ava confirms the wording. What is the cancellation policy? Cancel at least 24 hours before your session for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours and missed sessions are not refundable. If Silver Awakening cancels, you receive a full refund or the option to rebook. Are there group options for betrayal recovery? Yes.
