For Women Over 50: Parental Estrangement is a live online Silver Circle offering parental estrangement support for women whose adult children have stepped away. Led by Sharon Ryan, EI, NLP, MLC, this confidential peer group meets for 4 weekly sessions. $160 USD for all four sessions. Estrangement from an adult child can bring grief, confusion, anger, guilt, and an endless search for answers. The relationship still exists, but it has fundamentally changed. How do you grieve that loss while holding space for hope? How do you honor boundaries while caring for yourself? How do you redefine your identity as a mother when that role no longer looks the way it once did? WHO IT'S FOR: • Women 50+ whose adult child has become distant or ended contact • Women carrying grief, guilt, or unanswered questions • Women who want support without blame or pressure to reconcile WHAT YOU'LL EXPLORE: Through guided conversation and reflection, and alongside women who understand this unique loss, you'll have space to process difficult emotions, including grief, guilt, and anger. You'll explore the patterns and boundaries that shape the relationship, begin separating what you can change from what you cannot, and practice self-compassion. The focus is not on assigning blame or forcing reconciliation, but on building clarity, resilience, and a way forward, whatever the future of the relationship may hold. ABOUT THE FACILITATOR: Sharon Ryan is an educator, workshop leader, midlife coach, and transformational guide who helps women reclaim wholeness—mind, body, heart, and spirit. She combines a background in corporate leadership with spiritual and embodiment practices to help women 50+ navigate life transitions with greater awareness and intention. Sharon holds certifications in Emotional Intelligence, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and Midlife Coaching and is a certified 200-hour Yin Yoga instructor and Reiki Master with more than 25 years of experience. She earned her BA in Interdisciplinary Social Science from the California Institute of Integral Studies.
Cancellation Policy
Silver Circles are intimate, small-group experiences that require committed participation and advanced preparation by our mentors. Cancellations made 15 days or more before the start of the Silver Circle are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 15 days of the start date are not refundable, and no credits or transfers will be issued. Because Silver Circles operate as a continuous four-week experience, missed sessions cannot be reimbursed, rescheduled, or made up individually. If SILVER AWAKENING must cancel or reschedule a Silver Circle, participants will receive a full refund. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: • WHAT DOES THIS CIRCLE HELP WITH?
